Triora is a truly charming medieval village nestled in the enchanting Argentina Valley surrounded by forests and beautiful views. Every corner of this precious village, one of the most beautiful in Italy, tells of ancient legends about witches, druids and magic…

Triora is called the Land of the Witches because between 1587 and 1589 some women from Triora were victims of one of the bloodiest witchcraft trials in Liguria. Everything has remained documented in the records that are on display in the Ethnographic and Witchcraft Museum, located just inside the village.
Over time, the typical souvenirs of Triora have thus become amulets, fortune stones, magic potions… but most of all the Witches’ Filter, a very good artisanal herbal liqueur!
Witches and their history are also dedicated to the city’s most important events, the Strigora in August and Halloween right at the end of October…
