Murazzano
OBSERVING THE LANDSCAPE
These round hills of Murazzano are carved by rivers: while crops are grown on the ridges, the “ritani” (drainage basins) are home to woods with plentiful mushrooms and, in particular environments, highly-prized truffles. Truffle hunters (“trifulau”) and their trusted dogs keep an authentic culture alive, passing on their knowledge and skills – but are also tight-lipped about the most vocational areas!
